In 1991, after long years of research in the field of subtle energy, Slim Spurling developed a device now known as the "Light-Life™ Ring". This ring was to become the prototype of a cutting edge technology.

The science represented in the "Ring" technology is both ancient and modern. The so-called sacred or royal cubit length of 20.6 inches is the controlling factor in the construction. From the works of John Archibald Wheeler, the term Tensor, and its description as being formed when the ends of a piece of wire are joined in a loop, links the ring technology to modern advanced physics. At the time of Wheeler's writing, there was no known application for the Tensor except as a mathematical theory.

Slim Spurling, Bill Reid, and others, discovered multiple applications for the energy field known as the "Tensor" before reading Wheeler's work.

The current list of applications falls into several categories, from air pollution control, to health issues, water and soil treatment, agriculture, pest control, severe storm abatement, creating rainfall and synergizing with other technologies.

The "Ring" has evolved into several different tools through empirical, intuitive and experimental, trial and error. A second cubit length was discovered by Hans Becker in 2002 and incorporated into the technologies in the same year.

A research association was formed to further discover new applications for the tools and share information with an international network.

Ongoing research into the effects of the tools and their applications are being conducted with the assistance of renowned scientists, technicians and qualified lay researchers. Anyone may participate.
